Leading weaving machine companies are now developing machines to run above 800ppm, while the cable corder manufacturers are providing machines to produce packages with dimensions in excess of 350mm diameter by 305 traverse. The combination of these developments for higher speed, longer run lengths and greater efficiency, place even more emphasis on the creel and the need for constant and consistent unwinding tension, no package over-run and complete control at all times.
