Texkimp design and manufacture creels for any type of yarn or
fibre and for any for any package shape and size. Below is a list
of our 'standard' creels, however any specification can be varied
to suit individual requirements.
TC-FEL & TC-F The TC-FEL & TC-F creels are fixed position creels for unwinding
tire cord from random, or precision cross wound packages. Usually
arranged in either 2 or 3 double-sided sections with a horizontal
yarn path between rows of packages.
TC-T
The TC-T creel is a mobile trolley creel for unwinding tire cord
from random or precision cross wound packages. Each trolley is double
sided with the package unwinding from the under-side. The trolleys
have an adjustable preset tensioning system to control unwinding
tension and any trolley can be placed anywhere within the creel.
TC-MM
The TC-MM is a patented mobile module creel for unwinding tire cord
from random or precision cross wound cheeses. The creel has a unique
guide system to allow single handling of packages between cabler
and creel, while eliminating the need for
any re-threading at package changeover.
TB-MM
/ TB-F / TB-T
A range of mobile and fixed creels for unwinding tire cord from
all types of flanged bobbins.
TC-F-C
& TB-F-C
The TC-F-C & TB-F-C creels are a patented design for unrolling
tire cord at higher speed from both random and precision cross wound
cheeses and flanged bobbins. The creel is equipped with a unique
system for mechanical tension compensatoin and quick stop braking.
PT-F
The PT-F creel is a stationary creel for unrolling extruded polyolefin
tapes and monofilaments from precision cross-wound packages. Each
package unwinds from the underside with the yarn path horizontal
between rows.
PT-F-B
The PT-F-B creel is a stationary creel for unrolling monofilaments
from parallel wound flanged bobbins. Each package unwinds from the
underside with the yarn path horizontal between rows.
PT-C
The PT-C creel is a unique patented design for unwinding extruded
polyolefin tapes and monofilaments from precision cross-wound cheeses.
Each position is equipped with tension compensation and quick stop
braking control, to ensure even running tension and quick stopping
without over-tensioning any of the running ends.
FB-C
The FB-C creel is a unique patented design for unwinding monofilaments
from parallel wound flanged bobbins. Each position is equipped with
tension compensation and quick stop braking control, to ensure even
running tension and quick stopping without over-tensioning any of
the running ends.
CF-F
The CF-F creel is specially designed for the slow speed unwinding
of high performance multifilament packages. Typically carbon, aramid
and glass.
U-F
The U-F creel is specially designed for the unwinding of high performance
multifilament packages up to 40kgs (88Ibs). Typically carbon, aramid
and glass.
MF-C
The MF-C creel is a unique patented design for unwinding sensitive
tapes and multi-filaments from precision cross-wound cheeses. Each
position is equipped with tension compensation and quick stop braking
control, to ensure even tension and quick stopping without over-tensioning
any of the running ends.
MF-C-VHD
The MF-C-VHD creel is a unique patented design for unwinding large
packages of delicate material and multi-filaments from precision
cross-wound cheeses. Each position is equipped with tension compensation
and quick stop braking control, to ensure even tension and quick
stopping without over-tensioning any of the running ends.
Driven
Unwind
The DU-driven unwind creel uses brushless AC servo control technology
to control torque independent of speed. The system is suited to
a wide range of applications where conventional mechanical creels
are too limiting. The unit operates without dancer arms, is bi-directional
and maintains tension even if the yarn direction reverses.
