Tire cord

A wide range of fixed and mobile creels for direct feed of tire cord to weaving machines, single cord treatment lines and beaming machines.

Usually single or multi-ply twisted or cabled Nylon, Polyester or Rayon fibres wound on tubes or flanged bobbins, Running at weaving speeds up to 1000ppm and single cord treatment lines of 200m/min.

Creel technology ranges from very simple designs with local adjustment, to Texkimp’s patented compensator tensioning system.

Tape & Monofilament

Creels for the unwinding of flat PP and PE tapes and monofilaments to high speed direct beaming and section warping or slower speed weaving processes.

Texkimp’s unique patented compensator system allows the best control over stopping and tensioning, without the expense and maintenance requirements of electronic and pneumatic solutions.

High Tech Fibre

A wide range of creel solutions for the unwinding at both fast and slow speed of high tech fibres. Predominantly PAN and pitch carbon, aramid, glass, high tenacity PE and ceramic fibres, but without limitation.

Innovative solutions to tensioning and guiding these fibres, combined with over 30 years of experience of handling the fibres, provides our customers with unique processing solutions and significantly increased product quality and process efficiency.

Converting

Solutions for the very precise unwinding of films, foils, tapes and fibres into downstream processes.

Predominantley drive controlled solutions based around either speed or torque control from either dancer arm or load cell measurement of tension.

These driven systems provide very accurate tension control over the material being handled during process speed and package size changes.

Traditional textiles

Over-end unwinding creels for fast and slow speed processes.

Texkimp focus on providing custom designs to meet specific customer requirements, such as space, package size, process speed, or tension regularity that differ from the mainstream production line requirements for household, apparel and automotive fabrics.

PAN precursor

A unique range of fixed and mobile creel solutions to meet the specific demands of customers unwinding PAN precursor for the manufacture of carbon fibre.

Creels designed for package sizes from a few kgs up to 500kgs, with a range of tension and guiding options from simple mechanical to very precise driven systems, with individual position tension and tow monitoring and central plc controls.

Package handling

Texkimp will take responsibility for the process from package formation or receipt, through storage, unwinding and delivery into the infeed system of the downstream process.

A team of engineers with a background of providing material handling solutions, will tailor floor or rail mounted package handling systems and storage areas to suit individual customers.

All package handling solutions provided are operator assisted and current designs are for packages up to 500kgs.
